DO-160F and MIL-STD-461F Standards Review

Who Should Attend:

This is a non-technical class, relevant to just about anyone in the military and aerospace electronics industry. The DO-160F and MIL-STD 461F Standards Review course will be especially be useful for managers, supervisors, inspectors, DMIRs, DERs, DCMA and engineers new to military and aerospace EMC design and compliance.

Course Description:

This course will cover the latest commercial aircraft EMC requirements found in DO-160F. Changes from earlier versions on DO-160 and the new requirements found in DO-160F will be highlighted.

The course will also include a discussion and review of the MIL-STD-461F standard as a whole. Included will be a review of documentation and setup requirements, as well as issues to consider during design. Test requirements and limits will be reviewed with an emphasis on common problems observed during design and testing. Discussions of how the standard effects circuit design will be had. This is a non-technical overview.
