Automotive EMC Testing

CKC Laboratories offers an excellent automotive EMC testing alternative for customers located outside of the Detroit Beltway. Our facilities are well suited for both component and whole vehicle testing.   

Facilities
CKC provides automotive EMC customers with test facilities well suited to the rigors of automotive EMC testing. For instance, we can provide radiated susceptibility well in excess of the 100 V/m required by SAE J551-11. In addition, CKC has a large volume open area test site, capable of performing full vehicle testing on a full-size pick-up truck or SUV. Staff
CKC staff members have performed numerous EMC automotive test project for Europe and the United States. Our experience and level of comfort with standards such as CISPR 25, SAE J551, SAE J1113 and the Automotive Directive. We are also are an approved EMC laboratory with the VCA and have performed a number of successful VCA witness tests at our facilities.

Accreditation
CKC Laboratories’ ISO 17025 accreditation (by A2LA) specifies a number of automotive and vehicular standards, including: SAE J551, SAE J1113, SAE J1455, SAE J1752. Our accredited automotive scope is constantly expanding – please check our A2LA scopes for the most current listings.
